Shifts
- Days Monday to Thursday 6am-4pm
- Afternoons Monday to Thursday 4pm-2am
- Weekends Friday to Sunday 6am-6pm.
Duties and responsibilities
- Operate a forklift in a safe manner
- Maintain accurate records of the amount, type, and location of parts and supplied on hand
- Maintain production records
- Operate the inventory scanning system
- Ability to lift 40-50lbs, unassisted if needed
- Determine method of shipment and prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents
- Identify incorrect/missing information on tags and notify Team Leader or Production Supervisor
- Inspect and verify incoming materials against packing slips or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods
- Understand the proper flow of all documentation and records associated with material handling
- Maintain accurate records and identify and differentiate bins by part numbers and codes use of PLEX, computer, hand scanner by
- Recognize potential shortages of parts/materials and advise Production Supervisor
- Performs all duties while practicing safe work habits and obeying all policies and procedures
Requirements & Qualifications
- Excellent hand and eye coordination.
- Ability to do repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be physically fit to perform essential duties of job/being able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must have own means of transportation.
- Previous experience an asset, but not necessary. Client will train.
- Must have forklift certificate
- Must be okay with giving consent to complete a background verification.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada, speak and read English.
- Personal Protective Equipment Required: CSA approved safety shoes & CSA approved safety eyewear.
